A team from the East Berks Film Group entered the Colchester Film Festival 48 Hour Challenge 2012 last weekend. We were given the brief at 12pm on Saturday 22nd and given until Monday 24th to complete, edit and upload the film. Nisha Anil directed with the help of John Stewart and Ed Hancock. John came up with the script after a hectic brainstorming session with Nisha, Ed and Robert Martin Kelly. We were given the title “The Myths of Life” a line of dialogue (“I don’t care, just make it happen!”) and the film had to feature a stone being thrown into water. The film featured the acting talents of Richard Mehr, Adrian Relph, Louise Longson, Monika Lewikowska, Stanislaw Sowa and Andrew Foley. Ed and John filmed and John also took care of sound recording with Andrew. George Chamberlain was unit assistant and the music came from Tibursky. When all was done John was faced with the task of editing at great speed to get everything finished.
